Cannot add Wayfair Citi credit card account

Recently opened a Wayfair Citi credit card and tried to add it into quicken classic (windows). I chose the "Wayfair — Citi Login CC", but was unable to login. In the exact same browser window, if i navigate to the manage credit card via the wayfair.com, I could log into the account. What gives?

    Found a workaround. Create the credit card as offline account. Go to Setup Online, select the same Wayfair — Citi Login CC, login successfully and the account is setup with online download! ;-(

    Moral: just don't use the "Add account" directly with online setup.

    Thank you for coming to the Community to share your experience. I'm glad to hear you found a work around that let you get connected.

    Could you provide more information about what happened when you tried to add your account the first time? What process did you follow? Where did you encounter a problem? For example, did the process fail on Citi's website, while trying to authorize the account, or in Quicken? If the problem happened in the Quicken program, did you see any specific error message/code?

    This is a Citi Retail Services credit card. Do you think that perhaps this Alert is applicable to your situation?: NEW! 6/23/25 FDP-105/CC-505 with Citi Retail Cards.

    Don't assume that just because this Alert does not mention Wayfair it is not applicable to Wayfair. They are all Citi Retail Services cards so this might be applicable to the Wayfair (and other) Citi Retail Services credit cards as well.
