etrade download/Meta quote/price in error

Options

updating my etrade account, it changes the the quote/price to 40.2489 whereas the actual price is 733.63. I changed it to the correct number, but next time I download, I get the $40 price back again. is this an etrade problem or a quicken problem? otherwise all my accounts are updating correctly. windows 11 with latest updates.

A new Proshares ETF has started using the FB ticker symbol, and Quicken's quote provider started supplying quotes for that symbol on June 25.

If you still have the old FB (Facebook) symbol assigned Meta, you must change it as follows:

Back up your data file in case something goes wrong

Go to Tools > Security List and click on Meta, opening the Security Detail view.

Click on Edit Details. If the Symbol is FB, change it to META. Click on OK and you will get a confirmation about how to merge the symbols. I think the correct answer is to accept the default.

Future quote updates will get the price for META, but you may need to edit the price history to correct any recent prices that are still wrong.

Please let us know if that fixes the issue for you.

@louisebeeee The instructions above are for Quicken Classic for Windows.

Hopefully a Mac user will chime in with Mac instructions, or you could ask the question in the Mac section of this forum.

Or this discussion may answer the question for you
