Archiving Investment Transactions didn't do much and lost running account balance

I did the process of archiving my investment transactions for 2 of my investment accounts. It did not noticeably speed up access when accessing these accounts. What's worse, I lost the ability to see the running balance of each transaction in the register. Sure glad I did the backups as I restored after seeing the results.

@jamesmevanshotmail How many transactions were moved to each of the Archive accounts?

When I went thru the process there were over 500 removed from my taxable account and over 2000 moved from my biggest IRA.

    Performance in both improved considerably.
