Quicken syncing

I have been having issues for a couple months with syncing - it gets hung up and i exit out. If I try any of these suggestions, am i going to lose everything that hasn't yet been synced? I have used Quicken for years because it was simple for doing personal finances, but now it may not be so simple?

    Thanks for reaching out—and I totally get the hesitation. Let’s make sure you’re not at risk of losing anything important, and also clarify what’s really going on.

    When you mention “these suggestions”, can you say which ones you’re considering? For example:

    • Were you looking at deleting and re-adding accounts?
    • Resetting cloud sync?
    • Signing out of your Quicken ID?

    Also, when sync hangs, is it:

    • During a cloud sync (to mobile/web)?
    • While updating your accounts with One Step Update?
    • Or does it freeze right after you enter transactions manually?

    And when you say you’re worried about losing things that haven’t synced—do you mean:

    • New transactions you’ve entered manually?
    • Bank downloads that aren’t showing up?
    • Or changes made on mobile or web that you’re afraid haven’t made it back to desktop?

    I ask because the root issue might not actually be cloud sync—it could be something else that's manifesting as a sync problem, like a stuck dataset or a background connectivity issue.
