AMEX data download in Quicken Home & Business Canada
Quicken will not allow me to set-up Amex as a Credit Card account with Download capabilities.
Amex does support send QFX files.

Hello @MurrayP,
Thanks for reaching out to the Quicken Community!
To better understand what’s happening, could you clarify a few details for us?
- When you say Quicken won't allow you to set it up with download capabilities, what specific message or behavior are you seeing?
- Are you attempting to set it up using Add Account or by importing a .QFX file manually?
- Which American Express site are you using (e.g., amex.ca, amex.com)?
- Have you previously been able to download transactions into Quicken Canada for this account, or is this your first time trying?
- Are you receiving the QFX file directly from the AMEX website, and is the download completing successfully?
Let me know!
