This issue concerning AMEX and Quick Pay seems to come up periodically, but I can't find anything recent that helps.
I have had AMEX for many years. There was a time that I struggled to get Quick Pay to work, but it has been working now for at least two years.
Recently, I got a new AMEX (gotta love the miles!). The new AMEX DOES NOT connect to Quick Pay. I am able to get to the point where Quicken asks for a 2FA code. I enter the code, and then I wait for days for anything to happen. Nothing. Quicken reports the biller is "pending" for many days before finally timing out. I've attempted this now at least four times with the exact same results.
What's baffling is that my other AMEX works fine with Quick Pay. No issues. I've been using Quick Pay for the last couple of years. In fact, I just used it last week.
Note that the new AMEX has its own login and profile. The old one is under my wife's AMEX profile, the new one under mine. It likely has something to do with the permissions on the AMEX side, but I'm completely stuck. I tried calling AMEX, but they can't help.
Anyone have ideas?
