Will Quicken continue to support Windows 10?

Question

Turbo Tax has notified Windows 10 users that we will not be able to use Turbo Tax for 2025 tax returns.  We have to upgrade to Windows 11, which means buying a new computer at least in some cases.

QUESTION: Is there an end of support date for Quicken Classic on Windows 10?

Microsoft has announced a life extension for Windows 10 under certain conditions.  What are the plans for Quicken?  I couldn't find anything one way or another online.

There isn’t really anything in Quicken that would require different hardware or even a new operating system for that matter.  The only reason for the dropping of support is because of Microsoft dropping support.

So, how long buying a Windows 11 computer will future proof you more depends on Microsoft than anything else.

And of course no one can say how long that will be, but if I were to guess I would say it will be many years.  That isn’t to say Microsoft won’t come out with a new version of Windows, they most certainly will, and not to far in the future.  But I fully expect it to be compatible with the current Windows 11 requirement hardware.  And probably even be a free upgrade.

I expect that there will be an announcement at some point, but I was looking for some indication of when that might happen.  I know that I will need to buy a new computer because Windows 11 can't be installed on my current machine and Turbo Tax has already said that desktop Turbo Tax for 2025 returns will require Windows 11.  MS imposed a new hardware requirement for Windows 11.  What I'm concerned about is additional requirements that might be coming.  I'm trying to future proof anything I buy.

I don't know if Quicken will support Quicken running on Windows 10 though I'm pretty sure that the program will continue to work for a while, maybe with the loss of some features.  But eventually Quicken will announce the end of Win 10 support as they did with Win 8:
