Quicken 2013 Won’t Open QDF File from Quicken 2011 on Windows 10

I tried installing Quicken 2013 on my new computer (was using Quicken 2011 on Windows 7, new computer is using Windows 10) and it fails to load because it says my QDF is from a later version. Not sure what to do.
I use Quicken simply to keep track of my checking and savings accounts (not online) and pay bills, so I don't need it to go online for any reason. My most recent QDF is from this year, but from using Quicken 2011.

Spitballing here, but try making a Quicken Copy (File menu) of the data file on the old system and then try it on the new system.
Just checking, you are absolutely sure that the old system has QW2011 on it? Help→About Quicken

Old computer died, but I had a copy of my latest QDF on the cloud, so that's what I used. I am sure I had QW2011. I purchased QW2015, but never installed it on old computer. I tried installing it on new computer, but ran into the login issue since Intuit no longer owns Quicken. So, I uninstalled it. I need notice some files were dated 2015, so I removed them as well. Right now I have no QDF files at all under my Quicken folder under Program Files, so I don't know what file QW2013 is using to give me the error.

Try this procedure to ensure you have cleaned out the Quicken 2015 files before reinstalling Quicken 2013.

You said you had Quicken 2011 and purchased 2015. Where does 2013 come in? Where did you get 2013? I have Quicken 2013 on Windows 11 that I upgraded from Windows 10 and all my old programs still work on Windows 11. If you download the free Quicken 2013 directly from Quicken It should have all the updates. If you install it from somewhere else you need to apply the patches. But if your Quicken data file ending in .qdf is from a newer version it won't open it 2013.
You can download the full 2013 Deluxe program which doesn't need patching directly from Quicken for free using this how to convert article. It’s under Converting from Quicken 2004-2009. Click on the blue words Quicken 2013 for Windows in step 3

Otherwise if you want to install your own 2013 CD like if you have Premier or Home&Business you will need to patch it. One of the SuperUsers has posted the update patches for older versions (2000 and newer) of Quicken

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
