Rearrange Items in Quicken Mac

I can't rearrange transactions in either days or dates

My bank statements tend to rearrange themselves every week or so I would like to rearrange the order I have made in Quicken without deleting everything from a spot where Quicken and my bank statement agree or I forgot to add an item.

Right now you don't have that ability; seems an easy fix for me.

I don't want to get rid of Quicken, but I need this fixed

Your profile shows Quicken for Windows, but you posted this idea in a Mac category. So this applies to Windows.

Clicking on a column header will sort by that column. 
A little triangle will be shown in the column header indicating which way the column is sorted.
Clicking a second time (not a double click) will reverse the order.  In your case, click on the Date column  header.

There are more sort options if you click on the gear icon at the upper right corner of the register and select Sorting.

In Quicken Mac, you can only rearrange transactions in the register if the register is sorted by date, and in that case you can only reorder transactions that have the same date. If the register is sorted by any other column you cannot rearrange transactions.

Hello @wayne parker,

Are you using Quicken Classic for Mac version 8.2.1? You should be able to check that in your Quicken by navigating to Quicken>About Quicken.

The information @splasher provided about being able to click on the column header to sort by that column is valid for Quicken Classic for Mac also.

To clarify, are you having trouble sorting by date, or are you wanting to be able to have more ability to re-arrange transactions, even after they're sorted by date?
