Transaction list for investing account gone!
I was recently forced to update my preferences for my brokerage company. After doing so the window for my four accounts show four boxes with assorted information (TOTAL VALUE, Portfolio, Top Movers, Value over time)but not the transaction list I usually get. I always downloaded my transactions and have tried everything but cannot get these accounts back to transaction view. I have right clicked on the account names, on the investment header and no where do I find an option for transactions. How do I get back to where I was before this change or is this an issue with the Brokerage company.

"I was recently forced to update my preferences for my brokerage company."
Can you provide more detail here? Are these "preferences" you're referring to some changes you had to make at the brokerage company/website or are you referring to preferences in Quicken? In either case, what did you change?
"After doing so the window for my four accounts show four boxes with assorted information (TOTAL VALUE, Portfolio, Top Movers, Value over time)"
Given the "information" you listed it appears that you're referring to Quicken's "Dashboard" on the "Home" tab?
Looking at my own Dashboard I do see a box titled "Recent Transactions." Is that's what's missing? If you click on the "cog wheel" icon and select "Customize", are you seeing that option to show "Recent Transactions" and is that item selected for display?

It sounds like your account was changed from Complete to Simple tracking mode, where Quicken tracks the share prices and quantities and cash balance but not the detailed transactions. In Simple mode, the Transaction list is replaced by a 4-panel dashboard.
Depending on the brokerage and the details of what changed, you may be able to switch back to Complete mode by clicking on the gear at the top right of the account, selecting Edit account details, and choosing Complete under Tracking method.
Please let us know if this resolves the problem. If the Complete option is grayed out or this does not work for some other reason, please post back with more details of the changes you made, the name of the brokerage, and the type of account - taxable, IRA, 401(k), etc.

However, it is absolutely trite, and IMO disrespectful of your user base to say "you may be able to switch back to Complete mode…". Who, from a UX perspective, ever thought it would be a good idea to change the way a user sees their account as a result of this change? Who thought this change should be foisted upon a user base without adequate discussion as to the implications (my understanding is Simple mode doesn't track transactions/costs/etc. which has huge implications for anyone relying on what — at least used to be Quicken's core mission — tracking one's finances accurately). When I went through the reverification process for my fidelity accounts, I had numerous "bogus" transactions added to my account, and my balance was adjusted by over $40k. Let that sink in, Quicken, on whom I've relied for years, to track my finances, foisted upon me some BS changes that completely biffed on reflecting the state of my accounts. Can you begin to imagine the loss of trust I have for Quicken?

Please note that I am a user like you. I have no control over what Quicken does.
I agree that Quicken should not switch you from Complete to Simple mode with no warning or explanation.
That said, were you able to switch back to Complete mode? Did you have to delete the bogus transactions to get the account back in balance? What else if anything did you need to do?
What type of account was this? There have been reports that Fidelity NetBenefits 401(k) accounts are affected.

Hello,
Yes, NetBenefits 401(k) were also switched with no warning to Simple. Everything I have with Fidelity got rearranged and spammed with transactions for this simple view.
