How do I send a EFT to Fidelity Investments

Hi,

I would like to send a deposit to my Fidelity account as a EFT not a paper check. I have set up the account and can down load from FID as I have done for years but when I try to set them up as an on line payee the dialog box ask for the mailing address. Does it send it as a EFT even though it has a mailing address for them?

I also went throught the on line billers page and it set up the account (again since it was already set up) but I don't see them listed in the billers list. This is a confusing way since they are not a "biller" I just want to send a deposit.

Thanks for any help.

This isn’t possible with Express Web Connect +. It is a one way protocol, unlike Direct Connect.

And even with Direct Connect the financial institution has to support this functionality. It is more common to just support downloading of transactions, especially for investment accounts.

And the bill payment system is just that for paying bills, not deposits or transfers.

From the opening page of your Fidelity account, click TRANSFER on the line immediately below "Accounts & Trade".

"EFT to or from a bank" is one of the options there.

Which is to say, that you can't arrange the transfer from within Q, but you can arrange it from Fidelity itself.
