My bank changed its name

My bank changed its name. I can create a new account for the new bank but how do I migrate all of my old transactions to the new account? Or do I have to close that account and simply transfer the balance to the new account?

    The easiest method is:

    Take a backup, just in case
    Disconnect that bank from all downloads
    Edit the bank name and, if needed, the account numbers
    Re-connect the accounts to the new bank name.

    After all, to you it's all the same account … so why bother to create a new account?
