Quicken Business & Personal- How do you use it? Can it replace the desktop version?

I used Quicken Deluxe Windows for years but got away from it as life got too busy. Trying to get back into it and want to find an online or Mac with some online capabilities solution.
I tried Monarch but it wasn't for me. I read on some forums that Quicken seems to be moving away from desktop versions and they may go away in the future, but the data isn't importable into B&P, so I signed up for B&P a few days ago. So far, I am disappointed that I can't really find any information out there on how to use it. Can I customize categories? How does not having a reconcile feature work? And so on. I found this forum but was disappointed when Q B&P isn't even an option on the 'what product do you use' screen when creating a log in. Drowning here- any advice is appreciated.

Quicken Business & Personal is an extension of Quicken's online-only Simplifi product. For reasons that only Quicken Marketing folks can explain, they named Business & Personal as if it's a separate product rather than Simplifi with business features. This forum is for Quicken Classic, the Mac and Windows desktop programs. You should visit the Simplifi forum for answers to your questions, as almost everyone here has limited or no experience with Simplifi.

P.S. The CEO of Quicken says the desktop-based products aren't going away, and they continue to develop enhancements to the Mac and Windows versions. Clearly they're aiming to attract new users to the Simplifi product line, but the desktop products still generate more of their revenue.

Note that there is a Quicken Classic Mac which is mostly a Desktop application that recently got the startings of supporting business features, this is the right site for it. I say mostly because it also has a companion web and mobile app with a limited feature set.
