Set default report organization to "date/account"

I am almost never interested in seeing my reports organized by "account/date" so, every time, I have to reset the organization to "date/account". I bet many others have the same issue. Having the option to set "date/account" as the default would be an improvement.

It sounds a lot like a feature I requested earlier this year, which is essentially the ability to "transpose" the X-Y orientation of any report. Your statement sounds like that capability already exists, but you want the ability to set a default in a certain way: Date as the First Column, and the other items, whatever they may be as succeeding columns.

My requests for you:

Can you elaborate on how you're even able to "reset the organization to date/account" with the current software ? If I'm understanding correctly, this would be very helpful to me for some of my offline analysis
Can you take a look at my IGNORED Ideas (below), either of which would solve a major GRIPE I have, and comment, if possible

Some reports offer distinct Sort options. I use the Spending / Itemized Categories report below as an example.

@Trepid is (I believe) simply asking for the default to be a user preference rather than always defaulting to the first Date/Account selection. FWIW, I have my preference selection to be for Reports and Graphs to show me the customize screen first. That way I can choose the setup I want (Dates, Accounts, etc.) before the default version of the report is shown.

I don't see @Trepid 's circumstance relating to @pablomiller 's.
