CC-505 error for Elan Financial Services this morning 10/18/2025
Just curious if I'm alone with the error. I'm hoping it is truly a temporary outage.

I suspect (hope) it is just weekend maintenance on their interface with Quicken.

I am having the same experience as of this morning (10/19/2025). Problem started on 10/17/2025
"The associated accounts can't update right now. We are investigating the issue".
Online access to the website has not been an issue.

I was getting the same error. When I logged on to Elan directly (via a browser, not via Quicken) I saw Elan wanted me to update my estimated annual income. Once I did that Quicken was able to connect and download.

I logged into the website and did not get any request to update my estimated annual income. Where did that notice display on the Elan website?

Been getting CC-505 errors on Elan Financial Services for my Fidelity Credit Card. Was working fine on Thursday. Failed yesterday and today.

We do have a Support Article that covers CC-505 errors in Quicken, with special mention of Fidelity as well. Please take a look at that, and if the issue does not resolve after waiting 24hours, contact Quicken Support directly. Further investigation and possible escalation may be necessary.

Same problem here. Been broken for a day or two. I have two separate Elan Financial Services logins (one for me and one for the wife) and both accounts now fail to update with various errors.
- Elan Financial Services is reporting connection issues. The associated accounts can't update right now. We are investigating the issue.
- CC-505 - Quicken is unable to update your accounts. This may be due to a temporary server issue or a communication error. Please try again. (under wife's login)
- CC-800 - It appears one or more account(s) at Elan Financial Services have been deleted. This could happen if you have restored from a backup file. You must add the account(s) to Quicken again. Select Fix it to resolve this error. (under my login).
We have not closed any accounts. I have attempted to "Fix it" which appears to do the same thing as trying to re-add the account, or resetting the online access, and always get this error:
"Elan Financial Services is reporting connection issues. The associated accounts can't update right now. We are investigating the issue." I can then "try again now", which results in the same problem, or "enter transactions manually".
Who is investigating the issue? Elan or Quicken? Or is that just a boilerplate error message?0 -
My Elan/Fidelity Visa card has not updated since Thursday October 16, 2025. Same error messages as mentioned by 'lehrer' above.

I've got the same issue. When I login directly to Elan, the page looks different than before. It has Fidelity logo at the top.

I have the same problem as of 10/19/2025 at 3:47 PM. I was able to log on the Elan web page and download a quicken file of recent data. Still can not do it through Quicken. It seems to log on to Elan Site very slowly.

A possible workaround if this doesn't get resolved quickly:
In a test datafile, I was able to connect to my Fidelity Visa Credit card using Fidelity Investments as the financial institution instead of Elan Financial Services. I will wait to see if this gets resolved before resorting to using Fidelity Investments as the FI.

My account for Elan shows Express Web Connect (no plus). (And it's not working; I get a CC-505.)

It is 10/20. Still having CC-505 errors with Elan Financial Services (i.e., Fidelity credti card). I just reported the issue via the "Report a problem…"

Perhaps this Alert applies to your situation: NEW! 10/19/25 CC-505/FDP-105 Elan Financial?
If it does, you should bookmark it so you get updates regarding this issue that are posted there.
If you are referring to the Fidelity Rewards Visa credit card: Have you tried setting up downloading it from Fidelity Investments, instead? It has been working for me.
