I am being prompted to perpetually update my Fidelity accounts. It adds the new account to my list even though it is already there.

    Hello @Douglasab,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am happy to help.

It sounds like you are having a different issue than the other user you posted after, so I went ahead and started you your own discussion.

It sounds like there may be an account within your file triggering Quicken to prompt you to update it. To check for this we should look for any hidden/old accounts in Quicken that could still be connected to an old connection/instance with Fidelity.

Please review this Support Article on hidden accounts. Verify there are none. If you do find an account that could be causing this, please check to make sure it is disconnected.

After that it would be best to refresh the connection to Fidelity altogether.

    1. Save a Backup. Steps can be found in this article if needed.

    2. Disconnect ALL Fidelity accounts in Quicken. Here are the steps on how to do that.

    3. Revoke Quickens Third-Party Access from the Fidelity website.

    4. Add accounts back into Quicken

Once back in Quicken, you will want to make sure you choose the "LINK to existing" option for any of the accounts that were already in Quicken.

Let us know if this resolves the issue.
