How to add and maintain a manual HSA account
I am using quicken classic business and personal Version R64.35 Building 27.1.64.35 on my windows pc. My HSA has switched providers to Alight. After a long discussions with several customer "service" reps with Alight it appears I cant connect to the account through quicken. [4 of 4 agents I talked to had never heard of quicken]. When I originally tried to add the account the message from quicken said to contact Alight customer support for a company id and pin.
Do I add this as a manual brokerage account? When I get my pay stub is there any special way to enter the monthly deposits? Any advice or insights would be very appreciated.

I would set it up as a manual Roth IRA, because the money in the account grows tax free and distributions to pay medical expenses are not taxed.
If you are using Quicken's Paycheck wizard, you would enter contributions as a transfer to the HSA account in the Pre-Tax deductions section.
