Cannot connect to Oneamerica account anymore.
4 or 5 days ago, when doing a Oneamerica update, it would stick on Updating Financial Institution Information for about a minute and then just quit. I tried to reset the account but got the same result. When I tried to deactivate and reactivate the account, this is what I receive:

Login and password work fine on their website. Quicken Classic for Windows.
Any thoughts?

Thank you for sharing a detailed account of your experience.
The Oneamerica instance in Quicken uses Direct Connect, which means it uses the financial institution's servers to transmit data to and from Quicken.
Unfortunately, we do not have access to those servers. I would recommend first calling Oneamerica and asking to speak with someone in online banking. Hopefully, they can provide some insight.
If you are unable to get anywhere with the bank, please contact Quicken Support directly, as they may be able to escalate the issue from our end.

Tried calling Oneamerica. After being on hold for almost 10 minutes, I got cut off. I would bet large sums of money that they will say it's a Quicken problem. I will contact support and see if they can help.

still having same problem, at least now when I try to reconnect the account, I do not have to end the frozen session in the task manager it just fails.

Same here. Last successful update was 24 October. Reactivating the account results in an 'account reset failed' dialogue. Password has not changed.
Please assist.

The error I am receiving is: OL-297-A. Quicken is unable to establish an internet connection.
Error has been happening since 24 October, so more than a week.
OneAmerica provided no assistance.
I thought I would try here first, before getting on the phone with Quicken support.

I contacted OneAmerica, and they said they are aware of it, but no solution at this time. I asked them to email me with any updates.

Please review our Support Article for OL-297-A and apply the suggested steps to fix. Normally, if the steps don't resolve the issue, we would have you reach out to the bank. However, given that you have already done that and received no help, you would then reach out to Quicken Support directly so they can escalate the issue if needed.

Is everyone still experiencing this issue (I am)? If this is something OneAmerica is aware of, they sure don't seem to be in a hurry to fix it. My last successful download was on October 20.

New guy here - navigated to this thread b/c I'm having the same issues w/OneAmerica. Been happening for at least a few weeks now (maybe months?) but I'd been putting off taking care of it. Previously I'd been getting error 16503, but then I disconnected the acct, and now that I've tried to reconnect it, I'm now getting -1001.
I can log into OneAmerica online no problem. I haven't tried contacting them but their FAQs says they "cannot provide technical support for this program" and direct me to contact Quicken.
I also just submitted a report through Quicken.0 -
