How do I automate my mortgage payment?
Until recently, I had my monthly mortgage payment scheduled to be entered into the checking account where the payment is made. It showed the monthly change in the principal and interest amounts - it came from the payment schedule in the mortgage account. I would then download the payment from the bank and match it with the scheduled transaction in the checking account. This stopped working a while back and I don't remember how to set it up.

Using the Quicken loan "wizard" to establish the loan there's two places where you have the opportunity to tell Quicken to create Reminders and enter them into the checking Account:

So maybe edit the loan and see if, somehow, these got changed?
It's been a long, long time since I've had to actually account for a real loan, but I'd expect that the reminders would continue until you pay off the loan.
