I have reconciled my credit card statement and want to set up so that it transfer to my checking but for some reason this has stopped working. I. E. I show the amount transferred to my checking account in the category field, but when I go into the checking account nothing is there.

Your profile says Quicken Windows but you posted in a Quicken Mac category of the forum. Which is your question about?

Perhaps that's a typo? The amount you transfer goes in the Amount field. The account you're transferring to — checking — goes in either the Transfer field or in the Category field using the syntax "Transfer:[checking account name]". The transfer will then show up in the checking acocunt on the same date.
