How can I maintain a History of Transactions longer than 6 months & Report on ALL Categories?

Using Quicken Classic Deluxe Version 8.3.3 (Build 803.58927.100), macOS 15.6.1

I just noticed this, but I think it's been going on for over a year. In the past, I could pull reports for multiple years. Now I only see transactions going back to June 2025. Also, I don't see all of the category expenses. All of my accounts show Transactions: All Dates, Any Type, Any Status.

I do not sync with any institutions - just use for personal budgeting.

Your Quicken data file can contain many years of transactions; I have transactions going back to the 1980s in mine!

So are you saying that if you scroll back in your account register, the earliest transactions you see are from June 2025? Nothing older? If you have multiple account registers, do they all start in June 2025? If so, it sounds like you somehow created a new data file at that time, without your older transactions. If that's the case, you should still have the older Quicken data file on your computer, and although it's a little tricky to do, you should be able to export the data from one file and bring it into the other file. But before we go down the road of how to attempt that, please provide more detail about what transactions there are in your current data file.

Also, if you pull down the File menu to Open Recent, does the little pop-up menu to the side who the names of other Quicken data files?

It might also help if you could detail what accounts you have in your data file: how many, and what type (e.g. just one checking account, or a checking account, 3 credit card accounts, and 4 investment accounts).
