Using separate data files on 2 separate Macs with one subscription
Can I use separate data files on 2 separate computers with the same Quicken ID? I have used Quicken for decades (now using Quicken Classic Deluxe 8.3.3) for all of the family's finances on my MacBook but my wife wants to use Quicken on her Mac to manage her mother's account using our subscription. Is there a page that tells me how to set this up? There would be no crossover between these accounts at all. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Simple answer: Yes! You can have as many separate data files as you wish, and you can install Quicken on multiple computers. Install Quicken on your wife's Mac, launch it, and away you go.

Yes, you can do that. You don't even need to use different computers, you could have multiple data files on the same computer. Just make sure you give the new data file a unique name when it's created, and Quicken should assign it a unique cloud account name; that way there will be no mixing of data between the two files when you download transactions.
