One Fidelity Security is not downloading with correct price per share
Version 8.3.3 (Build 803.58927.100)
macOS 26.1
In my Fidelity 401k account, the security SMID Cap Value Acct will not download the correct cost basis. It keeps resetting to an incorrect number. When I manually update the correct price/share, it doesn't hold the correction, but reverts to something incorrect.

Please provide a concrete example of what you are seeing and a screenshot because your words don't make sense.

Ok, I'll explain it more simply for you. I have a 401k with holdings in multiple securities. When I download transactions, all the securities download correct shares and share prices except for SMID Cap Value Acct. That particular security price per share is resetting to .02/share every time I download transactions. The correct price per share for today, for example is $9.68. I'm having to go in and manually adjust the share price to the correct one every day.

Let's start at the beginning.
Cost basis doesn't download. That's determined by the buys/sells/splits/etc of the security.
It's the current quote that downloads. And that's largely determined by the Symbol you've set for the security.
Going to my Fidelity accounts, I found 3 securities that could be your "SMID Cap Value Acct". Which do you hold? What's the symbol for it, both at Fidelity and in your Q?
Because, more than anything else, this sounds like you've got the wrong symbol for the security.

OK, I incorrectly stated "cost basis." The symbol for the security in question is TFZP; that's what I have both in Q and what's indicated in my 401k acct on the Fidelity website. As stated earlier, the price/share is resetting to a much smaller number than is correct every time I update transactions in Q.

TFZP used to be the ticker for ThermaFreeze Products Corp but they have changed their ticker to TZPC. Per Fidelity, Yahoo and Morningstar TZPC closed today at $0.0160 and historically it has been trading at about $0.02.
Is ThermaFreeze Products Corp the security the ticker you are referencing when you say "TFZP"?
If not, then please confirm the ticker and the name for the business in question.
Also, 401k's often have private funds that have the same name as the publicly traded funds. While those private funds usually mimic what is in the publicly traded funds they are not identical and the cost per share is usually quite different between the two. You might want to inquire of the 401k to find out if theirs is a private fund or not.
