Do i need to do anything to have Quicken connect to printer/ scanner?
Yesterday, I had to reinstall my printer when I switched from ethernet to wi-fi in order to get it to print anything. Before I reinstalled the printer, I had no issues scanning/attaching in Quicken. Printer works fine in other apps.
When I attempt to scan and attach a receipt to a transaction, things seem to freeze and I have to shut Quicken down using Task Manager. The popup shows option to scan, etc but nothing happens for a prolonged time when I select "scan" until I close using Task Manager. The window to select the scanner does not come up.
I am using Windows 11 Pro and the same HP Printer all in one. I have not had a recent Quicken release to install- had worked fine following the last one sent.

On the FILE main menu, there's a "Printer Setup" item. See if it's directed to your current printer.

It is set to the correct printer. When I checked just now, Quicken froze as it has been doing. Yesterday, I tried attaching something from the clipboard and that worked correctly.

I'm having the same problem with an HP9120e printer/scanner. Printing works fine. When attempt to add a scanned document to a transaction the HP9120e isn't listed but it is listed when I printer a report.
