Paychecks Lost All Categories

Any ideas of why my paychecks would all of a sudden remove all of the attached categories? The line items are now coming up as uncategorized.

    Thank you for posing this question and reporting the issue you are having. No, I am not sure why this would happen.

    I do have some follow-up questions for you to help determine what may have caused this issue.

    • When did you first notice this issue happening?
    • Are past paycheck entries affected or only current ones?
    • Where is your data file located?
    • Is your file backed up/synced by any third-party services like OneDrive, Carbonite, or Dropbox?

    I think we have a couple of options here. You can delete the paycheck and recreate it. Then monitor it to see if the issue returns. And we can also validate your data file, in case there is anything it might uncover and clean up for us.

    To do this:

    1. Save a backup.
    2. Go to File.
    3. Select Validate and Repair file… Validate and Repair 2.png
    4. Check the first box for Validate file.
    5. Click Ok.
