Scheduled Income Transactions - split Categories scrambled

I have over the past several months have seen my scheduled income transactions being modified on daily updates. I have them with split categories, ie income, fed tax, state tax, etc., in this same order. However, the next day, they will appear in a different order. In one case it's even worse because what should be listed as income is now listed as fed tax, and the fed tax is now the income amount. Needless to say if not checked when it gets added to the register the information is incorrect. I have to change them back to how I want them and how they should be seen in the transactions. Anyone else seeing this? I am using Quicken Classic on MicroSoft Wiindows 11. I have reported this mulitiple times as an error to Quicken with no corrections to date.

I edited the title to clarify the issue.

The problem you describe may be caused by the process of syncing to the Quicken Cloud.

Do you have the Sync option at Edit > Preferences > Mobile and Web enabled? There have been reports that this scrambles split transactions, including paychecks.

If you don't use the mobile apps or Quicken on the Web, you can safely turn this off (slider to the left).

If you do use the mobile or web features, you can turn it off temporarily to see if that stops new occurrences of the problem, and if so decide whether you want to leave it off while Quicken fixes it.

Please let us know what you find.

This is an unresolved issue with Cloud Sync and if you do a search, the subject of many threads. Unfortunately, all of the threads have been closed without comment on a real resolution other than turning sync off. Turning off cloud sync can help, but some syncing still takes place even when it is off.

I had this issue with scrambled reminders in my file, but I'm going on 3 weeks without it recurring after implementing the following steps (or maybe Quicken changed something with the sync process?). FWIW, I have not turned sync back on to check if it will cause a relapse. I have a test file that I will check when I get the chance.
