reporting for foreign currency accounts in Quicken for windows
I just created a separate EURO account. I set it up following directions and the first funds show as CASH.
A bond was purchased. The remaindng CASH balance does not show a USD value on reports. If I want to buy EURO with the CASH, it seems I have to create it as a security in that account.
So how do I get the CASH to show a USD Value on a report?

In Q, what type of account is that Euro account? Cash? Investment? What?
Because to hold that bond, it would have to be a Euro denominated bond in a Euro denominated investment account and the remaining cash in that account would have to be Euros.
Is that how you've set things up?
