Known Issue 12/17/25: Duplicated transactions with PNC Bank
We recently learned that a small population of customers with PNC Bank Direct Connect accounts saw duplicate transaction data after downloading into Quicken. The issue was an isolated incident during a PNC data migration.
This issue has been resolved, however, we believe your account may be in the small population that was impacted by this issue. If so, some transactions in your Quicken file may need to be manually deleted.
PNC Online Banking statements were not impacted by the issue, and should be used to compare all account information you see in Quicken. The duplicate transaction data could have been downloaded into Quicken from 12/1/25 to 12/10/25. Please review transactions downloaded during this period to verify all data reflected in your Quicken file is current and correct.
If you do identify duplicate transactions in your Quicken account, you can simply delete them from your account register—see the detailed steps below.
