Market Value

Question

The market value for my one of my accounts in quicken is not showing the correct market value in the register. I checking settings but can't find the issue. I reentered the last transaction, check the share price, total shares, hidden transactions, and everything is correct. Please advise.

Before you were saying Account, now you're saying Fund.  Which is it?

And, if a single index fund, which? And what are you showing as the quote for that fund?

each index fund has it's own listing in the registry. all other index funds in the registry are showing the correct market value except this one fund. I manually enter all transactions into Quicken. If you look in the portfolio section of this index fund in my quicken it states the correct market value but it does not state the correct value in the registry.

Who is the investment company?  Fidelity, perhaps?

If so, Fidelity uses either a money market fund (MMF) or a bank sweep accounts for the Core Position vehicle for holding cash.  Does your account show holdings for that MMF or sweep account as well as a cash balance?

If so, that is a known issue that duplicate the market value for that cash.
