Can't download Bank of America data in .QFX format.

Question

Bank of America now only downloads in Microsoft Excel Format or Printable Text Format.  Now, I can't import the data into Quicken, even modifying the BOA .csv export file as modified with the modifications (blank columns for unavailable data).  How do I get my BOA data into Quicken?

So, no more CSV file downloads from BOA?  I think that means your remaining options are:

* Set up downloading from within Quicken via Express Web Connect Plus (EWC+) as mentioned in the posted Alert.   Do this by running Add Account or Set Up Now and making sure, if/when prompted to Link the downloaded data to the account you already have in Quicken.

* You can try downloading and installing an app that can perhaps convert that Excel file into a QIF file that can then be imported into Quicken.  One such app is ImportQIF which was developed by and is maintained by a long-time Quicken user and very active member of this Community.  Many have posted that this app works well for this. Bank of America has discontinued support for QFX (Web Connect) downloads.

The only way to continue downloading transactions into Quicken is by reauthorizing your accounts to connect with Bank of America via Express Web Connect+. You can find more information about this change in this Community Announcement.
