Try clicking on the Date column heading to sort by date. You can click on most of the columns to sort by the column. It’s easy to accidentally click on a heading while moving the mouse.

I don't think anyone ever published a bound book for the modern (post-PowerPC) version of Quicken Mac. The most recent book that turned up on a web search was from over 20 years ago. Probably the best documentation is the Getting Started guide, available through the Help menu or you can click this link:

Often, a Google search can lead you to quick Quicken answers. If you Google "Quicken Classic Mac how to sort register in date order", you'll get the answer. Of course, Google or AI responses aren't always correct, for for straightforward quesitons/problems, they usually are. 😀

I did something wrong. Only in "accounts spent" my dates are not in sequence.

Thanks
Right on from using your response. I sure would like to find a new or used book for that period for seniors (ver. Deluxe 5.17.6). Isn't the first time I missed up.
