I reconcile my account with the bank statement. I have never had a problem until this month. My December reconciliation showed an error, so rereconciled and I found a deleted item, and restored it. Now the Dec. reconciliation shows no error. Quicken balances with the Nov. beginning balance and the Dec. ending balance on the statement.
Now the January reconciliation shows an uncleared balance in Dec., even though the beginning and ending balances match the bank statement. The ending balance for Dec. bank statement matches the beginning balance of the Jan. statement. The uncleared amount on Quicken is $2.40. There are no charges or credits for this amount. There should be no uncleared amount when I start the Jan. reconciliation.
