I sold stock in a Vanguard IRA in 2025. A Tax Schedule Report in Windows 11 Quicken Classic Premier R65.29 includes the realized gains under "Schedule D, LT gain/loss - security". I don't think it should. In Quicken' Account Details, the Account type for the account is "Traditional IRA". The "Tax deferred Yes" bullet is checked. These gains are NOT included in a Tax Summary Report. Is there some way to exclude them in the Tax Schedule Report?
I'd like to import the TXF file into TurboTax. I can delete these gains after they're imported but I'm likely to introduce errors editing the data manually. Also, I wonder now if the Tax Schedule Report is mis-classifying other things?
