Converted from 2010 to Subscription version and encountering issues [Edited]

I have been going nuts trying to undo the mess that was made importing my old Quicken data. Sure, it got everything but duplicated many of the transactions and even worse (at least from my point of view) it miscategorized many entries so going back to retrieve a summary of some categories making it nearly impossible to go back and easily see what my real expenses are. I have spent literally days working on unraveling things and it just never ends. Once I clear up on I discover others. I really liked my 2010 Quicken version but it started to give me trouble as the operating system was upgraded necessitating the change to the new Quicken Classic Premier.

Explain how you did that conversion? Because Q Subscription should have been able to read a QW2010 data file without conversion.

And, given the age of QW2010, I'd expect that you weren't downloading into that product … did you enable downloads into the new product?

Also, what types of accounts and what financial institutions are you having the issues with?

Because reading in a QW2010 data file shouldn't impact your categories and duplicates might be caused by an imported transaction also being downloaded.
