Larger Spending Data Table Needed

PROBLEM: In Spending Tab, the bar/line between upper pie graph and lower data table is fixed. That limits User's view to five transactions. Scrolling is required to see more than five. This is inefficient when a large number need to be checked.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS: Add functionality so Users can expand data table by moving the bar/line that shows between pie graph and lower data table. Additional suggestions include setting default to display a smaller pie graph. Keep Payee sort function. Add sort functions to Category, Payment, Amount, and Total fields.

Having the ability to hide the graph would be a good feature.

But the number of transactions you can see on the Spending tab isn't restricted to five transactions; it all depends on the resolution of your screen and any scaling like Large Fonts or Windows scaling that is being used.

I run normal fonts, Windows scaling 100% with a resolution of 2560x1440 and can see 33 transactions without scrolling. Also, the transactions can be sorted by any column except Total. And sorting Total doesn't make any sense because it the running total of the transactions. And as such it directly depends on how the transactions are sort by another field.

EDIT: how much will fit also depends on what font size you are using for the "registers" and if you are using the row height is set to compact or standard or comfortable. Mine is set to 8, standard. If I go to compact, I can then get in 39 transactions. Comfortable changes it to 26.

Thanks for insights, Chris. I'm also set for normal fonts and 100% Windows scaling. Quicken is set for compact yet only six transactions show (I incorrectly said five in opening post). Screen resolution is 2880x1620 and screen is 16". Also, I now see that the sorting option is actually available. I found it when I moved cursor along header bar and a small triangle displayed in respective column. Clicking it let me sort fields.

With variable number of visible transacations for different Users, I still suggest that Q added functionality for Users to expand data table. As a suggestion, enable a way to raise the bar/line that shows between the graph and the lower data table so that more transactions show. That will sure help when many similar transactions need editing like recent lack of Categorization with Fidelity investment downloads.

It is strange and you can only see so few transactions with such a high resolution and Windows scaling of 100%. But totally agree (and voted for) this idea that it should be adjustable.
