How to delete cloud accounts

I use Quicken Classic and have sync turned off. However I noticed that I have 9 Cloud Accounts when I log into Quicken on the web. I do not know if this is because sync was turned on in the past but I would like to know how check that no transaction information is stored in the cloud and how to delete accounts that are not being used.

Every data file you have will have a cloud account (also called a dataset), you can't prevent that. But for data files you no longer are using you can delete the cloud account/dataset, but only from a data file that has sync on.

So, the procedure is to create a new data file with sync on, and then select Edit → Preferences → Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts → Cloud accounts associated with this Quicken I(x). From this dialog you can delete them. Make sure you don't delete any from your active data files or you will have to re-setup all your online services.
