cannot update banking

in Errors and Troubleshooting (Windows)

New computer, reloaded Quicken classic deluxe for windows. Some accounts update just fine. But Quicken cannot get into BHFCU, saying the password is wrong. I can go online and use the password to get into my accounts, but Quicken can't. What to do next?

    Are there any special characters in your password? If so, which.

    Because Q uses an HTML protocol to communicate with the banks/etc, some special characters can't be used to download into Q … even though they work perfectly well when your typing into the website (which doesn't use HTML for data entry).
