Quicken ReInstall Error

I've been using Quicken for 15+ years on Windows. Today, it stopped working - wouldn't even load. I figured that uninstalling and reinstalling would help, but unfortunately I think my backup file got turfed. Frustrates me to no end, that I seem to be starting from scratch with Quicken. Now, the reinstall won't work. There is no Quicken folders or files on my PC that I'm aware of. I am getting a "Quicken Failed to Install - Exit Code: 1723" error message. "There is a problem with this Windows Installer packag. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I am using Windows 10 and have a paid subscription for Quicken Classic Business and Personal.

    I haven't seen this error in several years, and never on recent versions of Q, which a subscription would be.

    Thank you for reaching out! When you try to install Quicken, are you downloading the current install file, or are you using an older one saved on your computer?

    If you haven't already done so, I recommend downloading the current installer, and check to see if that resolves the issue. Please use this article to download and install Quicken: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-do-i-download-quicken-quickencom-after-i-buy-it/#section-windows-1
