Dividends included in income/expense reports

I like to run a regular income/expense report by category to track my taxable income and taxable dividends and interest in taxable investment accounts. My report includes checking accounts, taxable savings accounts, taxable investment accounts and credit card accounts. I have checked categories _IntInc, _DivInc, Div Income, Interest Inc to be included in my report. When I run the report interest income from taxable investment/savings accounts show up. Dividends do not. If anyone has any insight into this I would appreciate it.

The only rational reason I can come up for what you're seeing and describing is that something that you say you've selected for inclusion actually isn't selected. I have a very similar report and do get all that information.

I'd suggest that you start with an Income and Expense report customized with the Accounts you want to see included actually being included - double check and triple check if you have to - and in the Category tab tick "Show (hidden categories)" and click the "Select All" button. If that report does include dividends you know that in your "regular report by category" report you're missing something.

Thanks Tom. That worked. It look slike it had to do with the _DivInc category. I had it selected before and dividends did not show up. When I checked "Show Hidden Categories" dividend income showed up. Still not sure why, but I'll take it. Appreciate your help!!!
