Can't update two American Express accounts that have different login credentials

Around Feb 16-18, an update caused many of my accounts to have to be reauthorized. I have two Amex accounts, not two cards, two separate accounts. Only one at a time can be authorized. When I try to authorize the second one, it deauthorizes the first one, even though the website credential are different. Anyone else seen this?

Quicken version R69.25 Windows 11 with latest updates.

    Hello @Jay Kidd,

Thank you for reaching out! The issue you describe is a known limitation with American Express. To connect accounts that use a different set of login credentials, you would need to use the American Express - Delegate connection option.

To do that, backup your file, make sure the account(s) you need to reconnect are deactivated, then navigate to Tools>Add Account. Search for American Express - Delegate.

Follow the prompts and carefully link your account with the correct nickname in Quicken.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks for this info. It got me all the way to the screen above, but the existing two Amex accounts don't show up in the list of possible quicken accounts to link to. The list of eligible accounts seems to be my hidden or closed accounts. Am I missing something simple?

    Thank you for your reply,

Is it showing a long list of accounts, but no way to scroll down? If it is, then no, you're not missing something simple; you're encountering a known issue where the list of accounts to link to doesn't scroll and is cluttered with hidden accounts.

It is possible to remove the clutter by deleting the hidden accounts, but this is not recommended because it will permanently remove all data from the accounts you delete. The only way to recover data from a deleted account is by restoring a backup from before the account was deleted.

If that's not what is happening, then please provide more details.

    Thank you!
