Roth IRA Withdrawals - Why am I asked to specify a tax lot or average cost?
Quicken Classic Deluxe for Windows - Version R65.29
For every withdrawal I download, before accepting it I have to click the radio button for either SpecID or Avg Cost. These withdrawals are not taxable and the account is labeled as a Roth IRA. Since each monthly withdrawal is coming from several different funds, generating a separate transaction for each, this is unnecessarily annoying.

Hello @ssryan2,
Thank you for sharing your experience! To help troubleshoot, please provide more information:
- When did you first notice this behavior?
- Has it always behaved this way?
- Which financial institution is the account with?
- Are the funds tracked in Quicken as cash or as securities?
- Which funds is this behavior happening with?
I look forward to your response!

@ssryan2, WHAT's downloading? Only the w/d transaction, or a Sale for each of those funds, or Both?
