Subject: Net Worth Not Displaying in Account Bar Unless “Show Credit Score” Is Enabled

Description: After installing the latest Quicken for Windows update today, the Net Worth line at the bottom of the Account Bar no longer appears under normal conditions. The Account Bar itself is visible, “Show Amounts” is enabled, and no accounts are hidden. However, the Net Worth total is missing.

I discovered that enabling View → Show Credit Score immediately restores the Net Worth line — even though the credit score itself does not load or display. This indicates that the UI component responsible for rendering the Credit Score widget is also responsible for initializing the Net Worth display, and it is not loading properly unless the Credit Score option is toggled on.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Install the latest Quicken for Windows update.
2. Open Quicken with the Account Bar visible.
3. Ensure “Show Amounts” is enabled.
4. Observe that the Net Worth line is missing.
5. Enable Show Credit Score.
6. Net Worth reappears, but the credit score does not load.

Expected Behavior: Net Worth should display at the bottom of the Account Bar regardless of whether the Credit Score widget is enabled.

Actual Behavior: Net Worth only appears when “Show Credit Score” is turned on, and the credit score itself fails to load.

Impact: This affects visibility of key financial information and suggests a regression in the Account Bar UI initialization logic.

@Hajster Thank you for your detailed description, but in both R66.12 and R66.23 I do not see the problem you describe. For me the Net Worth is always visible in the Account bar and the Credit score is just below it if it is enabled.

I think the Account Bar layout has changed recently so that the Net Worth and, if enabled, the Credit Score are always displayed at the bottom of the available space and only the list of accounts is scrollable. This is an improvement I think.

While I've never used the Credit Score feature, my installation of QW R66.23 displays the Networth line at the bottom of the Account Bar even with the overall window reduced in height and the rest of the accounts scrolling.
