Stock Dividend
I have two tranches of an alternative investment at Schwab
Tranch A pays a cash dividend and has two stock dividends
Tranch B only has stock dividends
Each account is named differently in Quicken, but is combined in Schwab. The stock dividends in each tranch are a percentage of the holdings in each tranch, but when I attempt to record them in Quicken, because Schwab transaction do not come over properly, I get wild multipliers in terms of share totals, because the stock dividend percentages are recorded on the total holding in Schwab, not the seperate accounts I have in Quicken. I cannot seem to figure this out. Wondering if deleting all of the transactions in Quicken and manually entering them would not be a solution, although I don't care for that one either. Thanks.

If there's only one "real" account at Schwab then I'd think that you would have to have only one Quicken Account. As far as I know there's no way to somehow direct Quicken or Schwab to only take some of the total information available in downloads and some how split transactions into two parts.
The way you've phrased your question it sounds to me like you think Quicken is "doing something" with the information - a calculation of percentages - and Quicken doesn't do that. It simply accepts "transactions" that are presumably "final."
I'll admit I'm not exactly following along with what's going on here. Are you treating the "tranches" as separate securities of some sort? Why did you decide that you needed two Quicken Accounts to begin with?
Maybe you can provide some screen shots or made-up transactions to better illustrate the problem?
If you understand what you need to do to "message" the downloaded information into Quicken it would seem to be faster to accept the downloads and do the messaging as opposed to entering everything manually, if there's lots of transactions to deal with.
