    You can't "archive" a single account … only the entire file, unless it's an investment account.

    SO, are you asking about a banking type account, or an investment account?

    When you CAN do, but it impacts all non-investment accounts, is a "Year-end copy". See Q Help for how … but take a backup before you do so, just in case.
