Quicken Classic - Windows 11 - blank white screen
Had a computer crash and reinstalled Quicken classic, when I try to start Quicken, it flashes the opening screen then gives me a blank white screen with File and Help in the upper left corner. Spent 2 hours this morning with tech support only to be told that this is an unknown issue and to please check back later.
I have gone as far as reinstalling program 4 times following all the recommended solutions, I even did a "Regedit" of the registries to make sure there were no bad data. It still won't load.
Anyone have ANY ideas on how to fix this issue?

A screen with only File & Help displayed usually means that a data file wasn't opened when you started the program.
Have you tried, when you get to that point, doing FILE, Open Quicken file?
And since you're apparently fairly technical, double check that Windows has QDF type files associated with the Quicken program … so that in the future you can click on a data file to start the program with that file.

Windows does have the correct associations for the file types.

Check your filename length. Quicken can get picky about it if it is longer than eight characters, 12345678.QDF.
Also check that there is not a space at the end before the period.
Rename it in Windows Explorer with Quicken closed. Once renamed, double click on the file to start Quicken with that file, after that, it should find it on its own.
NOTE: The old file name will still be in the Recent File list (File menu), but for more recent versions of Quicken, if you select it, Quicken will tell you it can't find it and offer to remove it from the Recent File list.-splasher using Q continuously since 1996
