Vanguard Download CHANGE?

I'm a long time user, today Vanguard is showing only POSITIONS on downloads not the usual necessary POSITIONS AND TRANSACTIONS? Did some digging, but can not change the TRACKING METHOD which now shows only POSITIONS. Bad news for us Vanguard fans if true. Have recently moved some account from others to SCHWAB and their download connections works perfect. Maybe need to transfer the Vanguard accounts. Are others affected by this issue and have a work around?

    Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this. To help investigate this, please provide more information:

    • Which connection option are you using with Vanguard (Vanguard, Vanguard Ascensus Retirement, etc.)?
    • Are you connected using Direct Connect?
      • You can check this by navigating to Tools>Account List and looking in the Transaction Download column. transaction download.png
    • Have you spoken with Vanguard about this?

    Thanks for following up on this. Am using DIRECT CONNECT and have not yet called Vanguard. I do see that my other accounts which are downloading correctly are EXPRESS WEB CONNECT+. I wanted to check this issue out on the Quicken side first. Looking forward to your comments. Thank you.

    Are others affected by this issue and have a work around?

    My Vanguards accounts in Quicken function normally with complete tracking method.

    I have seen similar posts on this community, and below is one of the few with a 14-point solution. There are others you can review as well - I used the search term of 'Vanguard Simple Investing' to find some.

    - Q Win Deluxe user since 2010, US Subscription
    - I don't use Cloud Sync, Mobile & Web, Bill Pay

    got me back to TRANSACTIONS. Not sure who caused this Vanguard or Q, but hope this is not frequent. It has taken a lot of time to get it back with research, questions, and finally Q Community got it straight. Thanks again.
