I have been a Quicken user for years, but am stuck on 2013. Is there any way I can get a copy of a later version? Don’t need support or a link to banks, happy to do everything manually. Brendan
Hi @yollom07,
Thank you for reaching out! You can convert your data to the latest version of Quicken by following these steps:
1. Prepare your data:
2. Purchase Quicken Classic:
3. Install Quicken Classic:
4. Open your data file:
You may also want to review the Quicken Data Access Guarantee before purchasing to understand what happens after the first year of your subscription.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help!
Quicken 2014-2017 can not be installed since the registration servers no longer exist. Subscription Quicken (2018+) will display two banners if the subscription expires, a narrow one from edge to edge at the top and a panel opposite the Account Bar that will take over about 20-25% of the display.
See this thread about it.
If you are willing to keep your subscription active, you will not have this issue, but the only thing that the subscription is providing versus QW2013 are the online features which as you know won't work for you outside of the US or Canada.
I'd stick with QW2013.
