Why does Quicken Business not calculate the Quebec Sales Tax correctly?
Hello,
I am using Quicken Business and Personal version R62.18. I am creating invoices to bill my clients and have properly set up the sales tax accounts (Federal and provincial). The issue: the system is not calculating the correct tax amount on the invoice as per the interest rate recorded in the sales tax account. The interest rate is 9.975% and the invoice is calculating using 8%. How is this possible?

Not being familiar with CDN taxes, I need to ask questions.
Are all items on the invoice marked as being subject to Sales Tax?
Is the rate for all set at 9.975%?
Can you post a graphic of an invoice where the tax is miscalculated, blurring out any private info that doesn't directly pertain to the tax?
And, I just created a test invoice … and the taxes were calculated correctly, according to my locale.
