Portfolio Update delivers outdated quotes when initiated on holidays or weekends

When running One Step Update to reconcile Friday transactions on Saturday mornings many securities are updated with outdated prices requiring a manual update to display Friday's close. This also happens on any day where the market was closed (e.g. Good Friday update skewed Thursday's closing security prices).

This is not specific to securities held at a particular brokerage. I observe this behavior with Merrill, Schwab, and Fidelity. This is a fairly recent development; I have seen it over the past three weekends (and Good Friday).

    The stock markets were closed on Friday for Good Friday … so there shouldn't have been Friday quotes.

    But, as I understand it, you asked for a quote on Saturday … so you got a repeat of the Friday value.
