Issue with reinstall of Quicken Windows
I was having an issue with Quicken hanging up / stalling when I auto updated my accounts. Thought a reinstall might cure the issue. However, after I uninstalled I cannot get the install to complete. I get an error. Says I need to manually uninstall and try again. I've tried that three times including a restart of my pc after the uninstall. No success. Suggestions?

Which year of Q are you trying to re-install? Could it be one so old that the validation servers are no longer active? In which case you'd have no choice but to buy a newer version.
What's the EXACT wording of the message you're getting?
